Study at the Department
During your studies, you will not only gain key knowledge of modern production management concepts, but also learn to understand the interdependence and nature of processes implemented in industrial companies throughout the product life cycle. You can look forward to courses that focus not only on industrial engineering, such as logistics, ergonomics, simulation of production systems, production management or work rationalisation. Our graduates must also have an active knowledge of IT support for business processes or business economics and management.
We use state-of-the-art technical equipment in our teaching. Our students have at their disposal a Fischertechnik kit on which they learn to build and program any model, for example an automated warehouse, a product sorter or a robotic arm. The department also has two unique laboratories - a virtual reality lab and an Industry 4.0 lab, where you can learn, for example, how a collaborative robot or an automated guided vehicle (AGV) works.
Excursions to manufacturing companies and real-life projects are also an integral part of the learning experience.
